Mr. Andrew Bryan Perera

Prior to being admitted to the Malaysian Bar as a practising advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, Mr. Perera obtained earlier training and experience in the accounting profession on a Malaysian Accountancy Certified Public Accountants articleship with a firm then known as Messrs. Price Waterhouse, a firm of Certified Public Accountants in 1974. Subsequently he has served in a number of Audit Firms in various capacities, leading to the appointment of Senior Audit Manager in Messrs. Khoo & Company, a firm of Certified Public Accountants in 1989. He was later appointed as the Executive Director of FKO Management & Taxation Services Sdn. Bhd. specializing in Tax Planning and advisory services.

In January of 1993, Mr. Perera read law with the University of London and was awarded the Certificate of Legal Practice in August of 1997. He was then admitted to the High Court of Malaya on the 10th of April 1999 as an Advocate and Solicitor. To enhance Mr. Perera’s vast experience in accounting, financial and tax matters, he read Revenue Law as a final year option during his LL.B Programme.

With his holistic experience in Auditing, Accounting and Taxation, Mr. Perera is more than adequately equipped to advise clients on legal strategies and essential issues to company & revenue law, tax planning, mergers & acquisitions, contractual issues & obligations, prospective shareholders concerns, joint ventures arrangements, restructuring services and public listing matters.
