Mr. Yee Choon Kong

Mr. Yee Choon Kong is a Chartered Accountant (CA (M)). He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA (UK)). He is also an associate member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (ACTIM).

He commenced his career as an Auditor with Messrs.Yusuf Oh & Siva, a firm of Certified Public Accountants, in 1981. He then went on to acquire his experience through other Audit & Tax firms and in 1989 he was attached to the Tax & Accounts department of Messrs. Foo Kean Oo and Company. In 1993 he obtained his Audit Licence and since was operated as a sole proprietor of Messrs. Yee Choon Kong & Co. based in Kuala Lumpur and in Penang. In addition, Mr. Yee acquired another Audit firm by the name of Messrs. Yee, Khoo & Co.

Apart from his expertise as a statutory Auditor to more than 1,000 companies, Mr. Yee has also acted in the capacity as a financial consultant to a number of corporations. Specifically, he has advised clients in the preparation of financial statements & strategies, financial projection and capital statements. His further specialty includes tax planning, consultancy and investigations. He was served serving as the Chairman of the Audit Committee/ independent non-executive Director of a Public Listed Company.
